On the eve of the Millennium two Englishmen and an Australian sat down to create their dream project on Vietnam’s prized island of Phu Quoc. Mango Bay Beach Resort is the result of that dream. The 20 hectare plot has been gently encouraged as an extended garden and holiday location for over fifteen years.
The personal vision that has wrought the mature garden out of the wilderness has also built the delightful accommodation and inspirational eating areas that are a hallmark of Mango Bay today. Mango Bay Beach Resort has been built on both an intimate and visionary scale. Visitors to Mango Bay often feel like well known guests, only to return again and again.
Mango Bay provides several facilities free of charge, including canoeing, kayaking, paddle boarding, cycling and snorkeling. The resort has its own protected reef filled with brightly colored fish and coral just a moment’s swim from the beach. Weather permitting, from October to May we offer a free three hour boat trip to the North of the island with snorkeling. Please check with the hotel for availability.
At other times our partner the Flipper Diving Club is happy to organize trips to the South for a small fee. They also provide scuba tours all year round, weather permitting. During the rainy season tours go to the Northern part of the island, and during the hot season they visit the South.
